Catie Anderson

Drawn to Hot Yoga for the warmth Catie soon fell in love with the stillness and focus of Bikram Yoga. She regularly returned to her mat in 2016, discovering strength, confidence and relaxation. Having completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) with Sterling Hot Yoga in 2020, focusing on the 26 & 2 Series. Catie further expanded her knowledge by training in Inferno Hot Pilates and Ghosh Yoga. Currently, she is on track to complete her 300-hour YTT with Ida and Scott of Ghosh Yoga.

Catie's classes are characterized by a calm and confident demeanor, creating a supportive environment where students can explore their potential and grow at their own pace. She strives to simplify the understanding of each posture she teaches. Catie emphasizes the importance of stillness between postures, allowing her students to connect with their bodies and still their minds. In her music classes Catie enjoys EDM, instrumental and some pop music.

Catie & her husband have owned Headwaters Hot Yoga since 2021.

Nancy taylor

Nancy was hooked from the start when she took her first-ever yoga class at the racquetball gym. In spite of the percussively loud environment, that first class was calming, centering and strengthening!

She keeps coming back to the mat to enjoy the many health benefits of yoga practice, especially the nervous system regulation, low-impact strengthening, flexibility, relaxation, and the cardiovascular challenge of hot yoga.

In her classes, Nancy aims to make a welcoming space where all students can practice at their level.  She loves to see new students hoping that they have that Aha! moment she had in her first class; and to see “lifers” continuing their dedicated practice.

Anusara, Ananda, Ashtanga, Bikram, Ghosh, Iyengar etc. etc…Nancy has practiced many types of hatha yoga, finding them all beneficial.  The sweat and cardio aspect of hot yoga, along with the soothing effect of heat on her joints makes it a favorite.

Nancy has completed yoga teacher training with the Yoga Institute, and with Sterling Hot Yoga and she is certified Yoga Alliance RYT 200.

Taylor Eisenzimer

In 2015, while in college, Taylor was interested in the uniqueness and curiosity of a 90-minute Bikram class. After her first class, she was hooked on the challenge, the heat, the sweat, and the determination it took to complete each and every class.

In 2017, Taylor completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) with Sterling Hot Yoga at Puerto Morelos, with a focus on the 26 & 2 series. Taylor continued to branch out of this focus and now teaches Hot Pilates and a Blend vinyasa flow class.

Taylor’s classes are meant to be a challenge, but also meant to meet the student where they are at, with the primary goal “to feel better leaving the room than you did when you walked in.” The classes are upbeat, fun, and hot! Always with music to match the mood. (Usually EDM focused, with some remixed classics)

Taylor enjoys all types of yoga and fitness classes and loves to mix up her fitness routine to keep things interesting.

Carrie Lewis

Carrie is a native Missoulian with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University.  She started practicing Bikram Yoga in 2002, and has found that a consistent practice offers balance and perspective to her life, which includes working as a nurse and raising her kids with her husband Tim.

Carrie finds inspiration in all students, and encourages everyone to commit to their practice and show up to reflect upon the ways in which yoga translates to life off the mat. She is experienced in teaching the classic 26/2 series and working to expand her teaching to the Blend class and Vinyasa.

Carrie attended the Fall 2015 Sterling Hot Yoga Works Teacher Training and holds an RYT-200 teaching certificate.

Brooklyn Shaffer

Brooklyn embarked on her hot yoga journey eight years ago during her college years, seeking a reprieve for her mind amidst the pressures of academia. The practice quickly became a cornerstone of her life, offering a unique sanctuary where she found solace and rejuvenation. Motivated by the profound impact it had on her own well-being, Brooklyn decided to pursue formal yoga training in 2022, driven by a desire to share this transformative experience with others.

Each session on the mat serves as a cherished opportunity to unwind and recharge, offering unparalleled stress relief. In her classes, Brooklyn prioritizes inclusivity, providing a variety of options to accommodate practitioners of all levels. She finds joy in incorporating music into her sessions, harnessing its energy to enhance the flow of her classes and foster a welcoming atmosphere. Alongside yoga, Brooklyn also enjoys spinning, hot yoga, and running as favorite ways to stay active and centered.

V Mcintyre

In 2016, V received an invitation from coworkers to join them for an IHP class. Although the sequence was unconventional, it sparked a realization within V that teaching IHP was her calling. Without hesitation, she embraced the opportunity and immediately became a work-trade studio cleaner. And soon a trained Inferno Hot Pilates(IHP) instructor.

V’s Sculpt sessions focus on physical maintenance akin to regular oil changes, Foundations Classes instill discipline in both mind and movement, providing a counterbalance to her weightlifting routine. For V, IHP transcends mere physical endurance; it fosters a sense of community and mental resilience, enriching her overall exercise routine.

As a teacher, V values students who exhibit a genuine eagerness to learn and adapt, irrespective of their skill level. Her classes are meticulously structured, infused with unconventional movement perspectives. Recently, V has developed a fervent passion for Ghosh yoga, which has left an indelible mark on her teaching style.

Balancing heavy weightlifting with acrobatic/aerial fitness, she seeks to strike a harmonious equilibrium between strength, flexibility, discipline, and play. V curates different musical vibes for each class type, reflecting the unique ambiance she strives to create for her students' practice.

Carmen Corona

Carmen has been teaching yoga for over 15 years. Her style is Ashtanga based, Iyengar influenced vinyasa flow with an eye on length and strength. In the past 6 years Carmen has studied a more mobility based practice with Budokon founders Cameron and Melayne Shayne. She relies heavily on their style in her personal practice and teaching structure alike. Carmen designs her classes as a safe and strong introduction to the beginner as well as a challenging movement exploration to the more seasoned practitioner.

Carmen firmly believes that the practice should be a fun, illuminating, joyful experience - challenging in all the best ways - and always educational. She credits her first teacher, Annie Carpenter with her own “dorky” fixation on Sanskrit as well as her firm belief in alignment.

“It’s not about making the cover of Yoga Journal. It’s all about health and safety, and longevity of practice.”

When Carmen is not on the yoga mat, she can be found on the jiu jitsu mats attempting to choke out her friends for fun.

She looks forward to seeing you in her class very soon!

Headwaters has a great team of instructors!

They help everyone from beginner to advanced and always make you feel welcome.

I love the variety of class styles available, times they offer, and the studio is always clean. I highly recommend! -Tim A.

JIlnar mansour

Jilnar embarked on her yoga journey in 2016 as a student at Be Yoga Andersonville, initially seeking solace from the demands of her high-stress career in mergers & acquisitions. Originally hailing from Lansing, MI, she has traversed the country, finally settling in Darby, MT, in the spring of 2022.

Her yoga mat became more than just a physical space; it became a sanctuary for transformation. Initially viewing yoga as mere resistance training, Jilnar soon realized it offered much more—it was a path to self-discovery and empowerment. Recognizing that she possessed all the strength she needed within herself, she embraced yoga not as a challenge to overcome, but as a choice to embody.

Following a period of self-reflection prompted by a layoff, Jilnar delved deeper into her yoga practice, traveling across the nation and prioritizing self-care. Today, she shares her passion for yoga as an authentic and caring teacher, committed to fostering healing and creating safe spaces within communities.

Driven by a desire to heal trauma and combat generational violence, Jilnar continues to evolve and expand her practice, dedicated to guiding others on their own transformative journeys.

Marty Corette

Marty first found yoga as a teenager at a local gym and found it to be a good “cool down” after working out. Years later, she reconnected with the practice and recognized how well it helped to balance her nervous system and cultivate both gratitude and acceptance. She completed her 200-hour YTT with Sistermoon Wellness in 2022.

Her goal in every class is to promote a positive relationship with oneself. Marty loves to guide gentle and accessible yoga that focuses on grounding, connecting with the breath, and finding the space to let go of doing. She is a big fan of props and modifications and always encourages her students to honor what their body and mind are calling for.

Loriann Arnot

Loriann's journey into Hot Yoga began in 2007. The combination of the intense heat, powerful dialogue, and moving meditation drew her into the practice. Recalling the instructor's words before her first class - "All you need to do is listen to the words and stay in the room" - Loriann emphasizes this mantra to her own students. While setting intentions is important, she encourages her class not to take themselves too seriously, finding joy and fun amidst the intensity of the practice. She finds fulfillment in teaching those who are curious and adventurous enough to step into a 105-degree room and embrace the simplicity of each posture, hoping to witness them smile at themselves by the end of class.

Eagle Pose holds a special place in Loriann's heart as her favorite posture, embodying strength and balance. Loriann completed her Sterling 200HR Yoga Training certification, further deepening her understanding and passion for yoga. Her journey as a teacher is not just about guiding others through physical postures, but also about creating a space for self-discovery, growth, and joy.

Beverly Dupree

Beverly has been practicing yoga in one way or another her whole life and started a dedicated practice of the 26/2 in 1999. Motivated by a desire to deepen her understanding and share the profound benefits of yoga, she pursued certification to become a yoga teacher in 2020. For Beverly, every class offers a new perspective, whether it's about her own body, mind, or life itself. She finds comfort in the heat, humidity and sweat of each session.

As a teacher, Beverly emphasizes the importance of listening to one's body and meeting it where it's at in the present moment. She views yoga as not only a physical practice but also a mental one, encouraging her students to explore the interconnectedness of body and mind. Beyond the studio, Beverly finds joy in exploring wild places, both near and far.  As a radio DJ, she appreciates all genres of music.  Ultimately, Beverly cherishes the simple pleasures of life: music, yoga, walking, good food, and the company of cherished friends, which she believes are the true essence of a fulfilling existence.
